Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run the store, we never sell your data, and you stay in control.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is RSsales s.r.o., ČSA 1301/31, 024 04 Kysucké Nové Mesto, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 56901062. For anything privacy-related, write to support@gadgino.store.

2. What we collect and why

• Order data (name, delivery address, email, phone if provided, items ordered): to fulfil your purchase and deliver it — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded.
• Invoicing data: we must keep invoices and related records for the period required by Slovak accounting and tax law — legal basis: legal obligation.
• Support messages: to answer you and improve the store — legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Newsletter email: to send you our emails, only if you subscribed — legal basis: consent. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; we keep a record of when and how you subscribed.

3. Who we share data with (processors)

We share personal data only with providers we need to run the store:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — sending transactional and newsletter emails
• Our hosting provider — the store runs on servers located in the EU
• Our product suppliers and carriers — they receive your name and delivery address so the parcel can reach you
• Meta Platforms Ireland (Facebook, Instagram): measuring ad performance, only after your consent. We keep the current list of advertising and analytics platforms in the cookie policy.

We never sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some providers (for example Stripe, Resend, analytics platforms) may process data in the United States. In such cases, transfers rely on the EU standard contractual clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep data

• Orders and invoices: 10 years (Slovak accounting and tax law)
• Support correspondence: up to 2 years after the case is closed
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
• Consent records: as long as required to prove consent

6. Photos you upload for personalized products

When you order a personalized product, you upload a photograph on the product page. The photo may show you or other people, including children; by uploading it you confirm you have the right to use it.

• Purpose: manufacturing the personalized product you ordered. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• We remove hidden metadata (location, device details) from the photo the moment it is uploaded.
• Recipient: our manufacturing partner in China, which has no European Commission adequacy decision. The transfer is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914). You can request a copy of the safeguards at support@gadgino.store.
• Retention: photos linked to an order are deleted 90 days after the order; uploads that never become an order are deleted after 7 days. Backups follow our normal rotation.
• We do not use facial recognition and we do not create or store biometric templates.
• The person in the photo (or their parent or guardian) can exercise all data subject rights, including erasure, at support@gadgino.store.

7. Cookies and pixels (EU) (EU)

The store uses necessary cookies (cart, sign-in, market and language choice, payment, storing your choice) that work without consent. Above those you get two categories that store nothing without your consent: Measurement (our gad_attr_first and gad_attr_last cookies, recording which campaign brought you here) and Marketing (Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, cookies _fbp and _fbc). We measure traffic with Umami on our own server, which stores nothing on your device and therefore needs no consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer; it lasts 12 months and then we ask again. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. The full list with durations is in the cookie policy.

8. Your rights under the GDPR (EU)

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent at any time. Just email support@gadgino.store — we respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk) or the authority in your own country.

Your privacy choices (US customers) (US)

We do not sell personal information for money. On the US market, however, marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) run from the start of your visit, which under US state privacy laws may amount to sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can switch that off at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, and your choice is stored for 12 months. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@gadgino.store. We honor such requests regardless of your state of residence.

We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page.
